I have a little confession to make.
I once gave up on affiliate marketing.
Yep… me, the one who thought they were ready to build a thriving online business, actually hit a wall and quit. Why? Because I couldn’t decide on a niche.
Why I Quit the First Time
When I first joined Wealthy Affiliate, I spent almost a year stuck — not knowing what niche to pick. Eventually, I gave up and quietly walked away.
Then in October last year, I decided to give it one more shot. I came back to WA, and to my surprise, their system had improved so much — not just teaching you how to build a business, but actually helping you find your niche!
And I did find mine — Minimalist Living.
But guess what? I hit another wall.
Because that niche felt way too big! I didn’t know where to start again, and I almost gave up… again.
Until I came across this gem by Shawn:
👉 The Truth About Stuck Niches: How I Turned Bigfoot Into a Business (And What You Can Learn From It)
How Shawn’s Story Unlocked My Thinking
Shawn started his whole site around Bigfoot (yes, Bigfoot 🦶) — one of the weirdest, most niche topics ever!
But instead of quitting when things felt small, he learned to shift his content angle.
He didn’t change his niche. He expanded his perspective:
- From Bigfoot stories to wilderness survival.
- From forest legends to paranormal phenomena.
Reading that made me realize…
“I don’t need to change my niche. I just need to shift my focus — one story, one angle at a time.”
