🧠 Learn WA Even If English Isn’t Your First Language — The Only Platform I Truly Recommend

Learn affiliate marketing with WA even if you're not fluent in English — blog banner
Discover how to learn affiliate marketing on Wealthy Affiliate even if English isn’t your first language.

This article might ruffle some feathers, but I sincerely hope no one else wastes money like I did, only to learn nothing.

Back when I wanted to learn affiliate marketing, I searched high and low for learning platforms. Most were overpriced ($300–1500) and covered only fragments of knowledge. For example, one course might teach blogging, another YouTube, and so on. If I wanted to learn everything, I had to pay for multiple platforms.

Eventually, I discovered that many of these instructors were just repackaging content from a single source—Wealthy Affiliate (WA).

Check out Wealthy Affiliate here

WA is a comprehensive affiliate marketing learning platform. The only downside? It’s in English only, which can be tricky if you’re not confident in the language. Sadly, that’s why some creators repackage WA’s content into expensive local courses.

Luckily, I could understand English and started learning directly on WA—saved a lot of time and money.

I joined during the Black Friday deal and paid just $497 for a year. It includes:

  • WordPress site building
  • AI tool tutorials
  • Social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • YouTube channel strategies
  • SEO optimisation
  • Full affiliate marketing training

No hidden fees. All content is updated regularly!

They also offer a 1-week free trial—perfect if you’re curious but not ready to commit.

💰 Not keen on yearly? They offer monthly plans too. Many loyal members have been learning here for over a decade!

Worried about the language barrier? Don’t be. Here are some top tips 👇

💡 How to Learn on WA If Your English Isn’t Great

1|Use Google Chrome to auto-translate

Right-click on any WA page ➜ Click “Translate to (your language)”

2|Struggling with video lessons? Turn on subtitles + translate

On Chrome:

1️⃣ Play the video first — then a music icon will appear at the top-right ➜

2️⃣ Enable “Live Caption” ➜

3️⃣ Enable “Translate Captions” ➜ Choose your language

3|Use ChatGPT or Google for tricky phrases

Paste unfamiliar text to get instant translations and explanations.

You can also install the “Google Translate” Chrome extension—just highlight a sentence and translate instantly without needing to open a new tab.

4|Make your own glossary

I personally use dictionary.cambridge.org to manage my own word lists—it’s super handy! I’ll be writing a blog soon to share how I use it. 😊

5|Ask for help—the WA community is super friendly!

You can comment under the lessons or message other members.

I’ve also created a private Facebook group (WA 中文學習筆記站), feel free to join us if you signed up using my link—we’d love to have you!.

📌 You don’t need perfect English. As long as you start, you can build your passive income with WA too!

  1. As a one-language person (English only), I found this interesting in offering solutions to non-English speaking individuals who wish to pursue Affiliate Marketing training.  These are good suggestions for learning from the best hosting platform and place to learn about affiliate marketing.  You offer several ways this can be accomplished, and I think this will help non-English-speaking persons wanting to learn from this great platform.  Good job, -Shirley

    • Thanks so much, Shirley! 😊 Your comment truly means a lot. I’m really glad the post helped shine a light on how non-English speakers can still thrive in affiliate marketing. WA has such a supportive vibe, and it’s awesome to see how it bridges that language gap too. Appreciate your kind words and encouragement! 💛

  2. This was a very interesting readand something I can resonate with bouncing between overpriced courses that only scratch the surface of affiliate marketing,
I appreciate how you have broke down not just what Wealthy Affiliate offers, but how non native English speakers can actually make it work. The tips with Chrome’s translation tools and Live Captions are brilliant, I had no idea you could translate captions live like that! Although I am a native English speaker I. can use the tips whenever I have a need for translation.

How long did it take you to start seeing results once you started learning from WA directly? Do you feel that the platform still caters well to total beginners in 2025, given how fast digital marketing trends evolve?

Thanks again for this post—it feels refreshingly honest and practical. Looking forward to reading the glossary blog you mentioned!
